Jan comes to the museum from a museum studies background and fine arts masters with an interest in bringing diverse audiences to the museum. She holds a Master of Arts in Fine Arts: Painting and Drawing and has a Certificate in Museology/Museum Studies, both from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Jan developed her expertise in glass during her time as museum curator between 1989 and 1999. She built upon her museum experience as the Executive Director of Rahr West Museum in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, from 1999 to 2006.  She returned to BMM as executive director and has lead numerous institutional improvement efforts some of which include leading two strategic planning efforts to organization structure and  charting a new direction as Wisconsin's Glass Museum,

Chelisa holds a Master of Arts in Art Education and brings with her museum and classroom teaching experience in addition to program implementation with diverse populations at the ArtCentre of Plano in Texas.

Jennifer earned a Bachelor or Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and sought additional training in Technical Communication. She comes to the museum with a experience in corporate communications and adult education.
